This artwork captures Franklin Falls during one of its most magical transformations—when the rushing water slows, the spray turns to frost, and the cascade becomes a cathedral of ice. Hiking the trail in winter, the sound of the river softens beneath layers of snow, and every step feels like entering a world suspended in stillness.
I was captivated by the contrast between strength and fragility—the frozen waterfall holding immense power even in its silence. The crisp textures of ice, snow, and stone blend to create a landscape that feels both alive and at rest.
